Three Day Diet
There are variations of the 3 Day Diet, but
here's
a very simple
version. Like every short term diet, you should include this as part of
an overall plan for good health. Any short-term diet if not included
with other steps to change your lifestyle will leave you fatter, not
slimmer. Also this is not suitable if you have blood sugar problems.
The Basic Diet
- 1. The first day of this diet is a fast. During
the fast, drink
plenty of water. Don't eat anything with sugar in it. You may include
diluted fruit juice or tea if you have headaches.
- 2. The second day you consume only fruit and
fruit juices. No added sugars in the juice.
- 3. Eat vegetables and drink fruit juices on the
third day.
- 4. Then eat normally the rest of the week.
You could do this every week for a time or once a
month or just occasionally.
Fasting rests your body from the work of digestion
and helps to
clean out the wastes of metabolism. Many people feel better after short
fasts. Don't continue with fasts if you feel bad. Also you can alter
the plan to fit your preference. Use herb teas that you prefer. Eat
fruits and vegetables on the second and third days or whatever you
choose. This is just giving your body a rest from digestion and a time
for some cleaning.
